My friends and I wanted to try some Wagyu beef and this place sells it with Kuroge Wagyu sign on the window. Their homemade cornbeef (bottom pic) was ok. It was a little dry for me. BUT the steak (top pic) was SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS (5500 yen for that dish alone, a little under $50) It was perfect. The guy brought it out for us to see the meat before they grilled it (just like they did at 5A5 Steak Lounge) and it was beautiful. If you wanted more cooked (get the fuck out, just kidding, but seriously you should ALWAYS eat steak medium rare. If not, don’t eat it at all cause you ruined a good piece of beef) then you can grilled it a little on that like circular stone. If you are in Japan, make sure you try some, even though it is expensive, it is totally worth it.
